At our company, we take pride in being certified as Living Wage Employers by the Living Wage Foundation. Our commitment to our staff is to pay them a wage that is based on the cost of living.
This certification reflects our dedication to ensuring that all our employees receive fair compensation that enables them to cover their basic needs and improve their quality of life. We believe that by paying a living wage, we not only support our team members but also contribute to building a more equitable and sustainable society. Our goal is to create a work environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and motivated to excel in their roles. By upholding the values of fairness and dignity in the workplace, we strive to set a positive example for other businesses and inspire a culture of respect and empowerment across industries.
Furthermore, we have recently introduced life insurance for all of our employees. This also provides access to the Help at Hand app, a comprehensive health and wellbeing app that offers 360-degree support. This includes access to medical and wellbeing specialists, ensuring that our team members have the support they need.
In addition to our commitment to the well-being of our employees, we strive to provide a supportive work environment that values their health and happiness. The Help at Hand app serves as a valuable tool, offering a wide array of services tailored to meet the diverse needs of our team members. From connecting with medical professionals to receiving guidance from well-being specialists, our employees can rest assured that they have the necessary support to lead healthy and fulfilling lives both in and out of the workplace.

Woven Labels UK, as an equal opportunity employer, is dedicated to fair treatment and hiring practices for all employees without discrimination based on race, gender, ethnicity, religion, or disability. To reinforce this pledge:
At Woven Labels UK, 60% of our staff are women, 50% of our managerial team consists of women and 50% of our directors.
At Woven Labels UK, we are continuously exploring innovative approaches to enhance our sustainability in the production process. Presently, we take pride in the fact that 80% of our yarn usage is recycled and adheres to the Oeko-Tex standard, known for its stringent testing of textiles for harmful substances, ensuring customer trust and product safety.
Furthermore, we strictly follow all recycling guidelines set by the Welsh government to reduce our impact on landfills.
Our primary goal for 2024 is to decrease waste and advocate for a circular economy by repurposing our waste materials for other textile industries. To achieve this, we are collaborating with The Salvation Army on a pioneering project that involves reducing landfill waste through the world's first commercial-scale polyester recycling system.
Woven Labels UK is actively moving towards sustainability and has successfully finished the Green Skills for Small Business program in collaboration with Small Business Britain and Oxford Brookes Business School. Our company is committed to exploring creative solutions to enhance eco-friendliness and combat climate change.
We believe that every small step towards sustainability makes a significant impact in preserving our planet for future generations. We are dedicated to pioneering innovative solutions that not only benefit our business but also contribute to a greener and more sustainable world.
